"Tradewinds was built by an American contractor to US specifications. Everything actually works here. It is a short walk to the beach and shopping but quiet and secure. Sunsets over the pool garden from the terrace are really nice. There is an eclectic mix or residents at Tradewinds: Germans, Italians, French, Swiss, Dominican executives and many N.Americans. You will not find a better built and managed complex with a better group of residents than Tradewinds. The terrace is nice for relaxation, dining and snoozing in the hammock. The pool and deck are large and very well maintained by an excellent maintenance staff. The mountains are just behind us. There is always a seabreeze and the smell of flowers in bloom. The fresh local produce, fish and fruits are worth the trip and the small kitchen is equipped to take full advantage of the delicacies that await you here."
